Richard Kandelmann’s diary aboard ‘The Dunera’ — 2 Comments
Hello,
I’m Josep Ortiz, from Barcelona (Spain).
I’m looking for information about the Dunera and the experience of the people interned in Australia because I’m writting a novel.
I read some books (The Dunera Scandal, Collar the Lot) but this pages of Richard Kandelmann’s diary are very interesting because it let me make a real idea about how a person lived that experience.
I’m very interested in this diary. It will be possible to obtain a copy?
Hi, I am very interested in the diaires. My father was a junior crew member on the Dunera in 1940 and any information, diaries or memories would be very much appreciated,
Thanks, Jane
